Migraines

A migraine is a type of headache. Typically, it is triggered by certain smells, foods, or stress/anxiety. Symptoms may be nausea, vomiting, or sensitivity to light and sound. In most people, a throbbing pain is felt only on one side of the head. Most medical experts believe migraines begin in the brain and involve nerve pathways and chemicals. The changes affect blood flow in the brain and surrounding tissues.
